Vintage Trailers

There is something special about vintage trailers. They are simple yet exude an aura of class that modern models seem to lack. The degree of craftsmanship in the production method of the past seems to have vanished due to the modern concept of mass-production in which the primary focus is on the number of finished products that leave the factory.
To be honest, not much has changed when it comes to trailer technology. Although modern models boast parts of the trailer made of better materials, its functions remain fundamentally the same.
I remember watching a documentary show about the invention of the safety razor. As what you can expect from a documentary about one of the most unremarkable items in our daily lives, the duration of the show was quite boring. Unless you have a mysterious enthusiasm for razors. Anyways, what I got from the documentary is that the safety razor was already in its best form when it was first introduced. All the upgrades that happened after the first were pretty much trivial. The benefits that the lubricating strip, doubled and tripled blade, and the moving heads offer are not something that cannot be done with the first installment of the safety razor. The only significant improvement has to do with the price.
What I am saying is that the improvement of trailer models is quite similar with the safety razor. There may be some added features, but nothing that drastically changes things. Vintage trailers that have been properly taken care of and upgraded with the modern parts for trailer will perform just as well as the new models. This is something to think about when mulling over your need to purchase a new trailer or have an older model restored and upgraded.
